1) Progression Model: The exact progression model with the promotion and demotion schedule for each progression can be accessed via the Progression Model link on the Pinetar site. This is a guide of only progression rules which will be adhered to.

A. All regular season champions in all leagues will be promoted to the next level. 

B. All demotions will be enforced. A first or second level team that is demoted out of a league may not rejoin the same league the following year. However, third level managers who are demoted out of their progression will be allowed to apply for any open spots in another league at the same level, within that same progression. A manager who is demoted from the same level of a progression for two consecutive seasons will have to sit out from that progression for at least one MLB season.

C. Any unexpected open spots in the first and second tier will be filled by the next lowest tiered team that finished in the highest ranking non-promoted spot. The Pinetar Power Rankings will be used to determine which team moves up. As an example, if a manager in Odyssey can't continue next year then the 2nd place finisher in Hyperion and Calypso who finished with the highest power ranking would get the promotion. 

D. A manager that resigns a spot in a first or second tier league will not be eligible to return to the same tier or league in the event they return later. They must enter at the bottom level and work their way back up.

E. At no time may a manager play more than one team within the same progression. A manager may play an NL, AL and AU team, but may not play two NL progression teams. 

2) The Pinetar membership fee is $10. 100% of your $10 will be applied to the organization for trophies, prizes and to cover some minor web site fees. 

3) We take credit cards. Payments may be made from your checking account or by credit card on PayPal.PayPal does charge a nominal fee for processing credit card payments, but these fees will be paid from the Pinetar General Fund. 

4) Fee Deadline

Each manager's $10 must be received by Lady Cat no later than their leagues enrollment date. Failure to pay your $10 fee by that deadline may result in exclusion from your Pinetar/BBM league.

5) Surrender of BBM ID and Password

Each manager must surrender their Baseball Manager ID and password to their league commissioner upon enrollment.  The ID and Password are to be used only in the event that the manager fails to manage their team, whether on purpose or due to unforeseen events. Pinetar guarantees you won't play in a league with a robo and this requirement is how we're able to do that. In the event a manager can't continue we will assign a fill in manager to take over the team for as long as necessary. 

6) Community Building

 We ask our managers to commit to one post on the Diamond Club per week. We feel that building a community on the Diamond Club elevates the enjoyment of playing Baseball Manager, and helps managers come to know the managers of other Pinetar leagues. We consider use of the Diamond Club as essential to building our Pinetar community. We ask managers to commit to one news post each month on their league's web page. Pinetar News serves as an archive of each league's season. Trade announcements, free agent signings, celebrations and pleas for pity can be reviewed at the end of the season, and saved for posterity.

7) Organizational Awards

At seasons end the organizational members may nominate managers for each of the organizational awards. A organization wide vote will be conducted after the season's end for these awards.

8)  Organizational Elections

At seasons end pinetar managers will be asked to self-nominate for Board of Directors and Pinetar Grand Poobah (President). Elections will be held from in October.
